Hey Guys Merry XMAS!

Merry XMAS everybody.

Now I said I would get a PS3 at some time, and now I finally have one, I'm going to do a written review of "Call of Duty: World at War"

My brother got CoD WaW for XMAS personally I thought it was a bit of a waste of money at start for a game which is essentially the same game as CoD4, except the obvious differences: Different Weapons and also different setting and also tanks.

First off, the negative points about the game:

The Story:

The story is rather limited to the time era, instead in CoD4 seeing that it's all fictional, the writers could of gone mad with possibilities. It's a shame there isn't a part with the same feeling when the Atom Bomb goes off, which I personally believe is one of the greatest moments in video game history.

Weapons:

The Weapons are balanced in general, but I do have a huge problem with granades. In CoD4 the granades where a pain in the ass and in my opinion, rather overpowered and the granade indicator was just rubbish, I complained about it that it wasn't visible enough and in CoD:WaW, granades are even worse, enemies in Single player seem to have superhuman strength, they can throw granades from so far away that you might aswell go all the way to Antarctica and the damn granades will still reach you. The Granade indicator is even worse in CoD WaW, it's smaller and it's the same colour, grey, in would of made life so much more simple if there were the options to change the colour for instance. But no, considering how many people bitched about it, Treyarc decided to do nothing about it, and to make grandes even more annoying then they were in CoD4.

Yet again Weapons are limited to the time era which is another down side. It just feels better to sent a helicopter to the enemy then sending some dogs.

The AI is horrible, they are incredibly stupid that it's not even funny, they will sometimes just stand in front of you and basically just stay there until you shoot them in the face.

Now to the positives:

The Gameplay is fun and addicting as in CoD4.

And the Multiplayer is brilliant as in CoD4.

Also there is the addition of Nazi Zombies.

Overall I give CoD:WaW a 8/10
